Star Crossed

For my costume design class we had to design costumes for the star crossed lovers arche-type, using existing characters. I picked Ruby and Sapphire from Steven Universe because what better way to represent star crossed lovers than aliens?

Me, literal? Noooo.

So since I can't depict them in their clothes from the show or fused into Garnet-that would be cheating-here they are in contemporary beach punk costumes.
